‘1984’, ‘Tom Sawyer’ and ‘Catch-22’ are among the 10,000 banned books used to create this installation the Parthenon of Forbidden Books in Kassel, Germany, right on the site where Nazis burned books written by Jewish or Marxist writers in 1933. It is not only a fantastic idea and a jaw-dropping installation, but also a reminder that literary censorship stills exists today.
